The 30th Anniversary Concert

On October 11, 2009, the Tokyo University Trombone Club held its 30th Anniversary Concert at the University of Tokyo's Yasuda Auditorium. We were blessed with the clearest autumn weather in the world, and we had over 350 visitors on the day. In addition to those who saw the flyers, there were also visitors who happened to be passing by on their way to the exhibition. Even those who did not listen to the trombone ensemble seemed to enjoy the performance. Some of the guests were looking at the inside of the Yasuda Auditorium, which is usually closed to visitors.

Congratulatory Address

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the concert, we received congratulatory messages from people in various fields.

Congratulations to the Tokyo University Trombone Club and Mr. Yorio Imai on the 30th anniversary of the club's founding. As a person who loves music and trombone as much as you do, I am very happy to see that you are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the club. I hope you will continue to play music seriously, but above all, enjoy playing music. I wish the University of Tokyo Trombone Club more and more progress and development from faraway America.
